Electro Mechanical Technician

Position: Electro-Mechanical Technician 

Location: Reading

Job Type: Permanent 

We’re currently on the lookout for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team based in Reading. The company is an established Defence manufacturer.

Role and Responsibilities:

In this role you will be:

• Assembling complex/high precision electro-mechanical units.
• Sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
• Work from detailed assembly and wiring diagrams.
• Making sure the work is performed to the required quality and timescale.

Experience or Qualifications:     

• Experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
• Highly proficient with soldering, crimping and jointing skills.
• Can work to IPC Standards.
• Experienced with using hand tools, soldering equipment, jigs etc.
