Job Title: CNC Miller/Turner

Location: Bristol

Pay range/details: £11-£14 per hour (OT Paid at 1.5x and 2x on Sunday)

Contract Type: Permanent

My client who works within the Aerospace industry maintaining and repairing exciting legacy aircraft parts are looking for Millers and Turners to become part of a very close team from shopfloor through to office levels.

You will need to have previous experience as a CNC Miller or Turner and must be able to work within a team as you will be using specialist machinery in an exciting and highly technical environment. You will need to be competent in machine assembly and basic machining, all whilst regularly updating your production manager. You will need to take pride in your work and maintain high quality standards. The position requires you to be self-driven and organised whilst being willing to adapt to ensure we provide excellent service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities – CNC Miller/Turner

  • Working on an array of multi-axis machines to suit all production needs.
  • Checking each stage of the machining process multiple times to ensure all products are suitable.
  • Working with the design teams on development to ensure parts are fit for purpose but cost stripped out where not essential delivering Cost efficient method of manufacturing.

Qualifications & Requirements – CNC Miller/Turner

  • Must be upskilled on either Fanuc or Heidenhain controls
