Job Title: CNC Miller Setter Operator 

Location: Poole 

Pay Range/details: Up to £32000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

CNC Miller – Programmer/setter/operator

An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client. They are a successful Engineering company that are offering a stable and lucrative career in their machine shop. They require a CNC Miller – setter/operator, to set and operate CNC Milling centres with Fanuc control system

The candidate will be responsible for understanding engineering drawings, programming from scratch using Fanuc, selecting tooling, setting and operating the CNC machinery. They will be involved in producing batch work and one offs.

Key Responsibilities – CNC Miller Setter Operator 

Your main responsibilities will involve;

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines with FANUC OI-MF control system to produce prismatic components to customer drawing and specifications
• Tool setting & offset adjustments
• Inspection of your own work to drawing and SPC requirements
• Maintain your area to a high standard of 5C/5S

Qualifications & Requirements – NC Miller Setter Operator 

Your skills and qualifications as a semi-skilled CNC Miller Setter/Operator:

• Experienced in the setting and operating of CNC milling machines
• General high standard of engineering ability
• Experience in aerospace component manufacture is beneficial but not essential
