Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Stroud

Pay Range/details: £14.50 p/h

Contract Type: Permanent

Due to an increase in workload my client, an established manufacturing business, are currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join their machine shop. The successful CNC Machinist will join the business on a permanent basis in a days-based role. The ideal candidate will have a machine setting experience producing high quality components for a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities – CNC Machinist

  • Previous experience setting and operating CNC Lathes
  • Experience machining small batch work, with regular machine resets and tooling changes
  • Self-inspection of work alongside paperwork completion.
  • Complete all necessary material movement paperwork - (Route cards, Material traceability, Program changes)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings
  • Proactive, hard-working and a team player.
  • Ability to work autonomously

 

Qualifications & Requirements – CNC Machinist

  • Experience of setting and operating CNC lathes
  • Heidenhein control experience would be advantageous
