Our client is a First Tier supplier to the global aviation industry, are looking for a Stress Engineer to conduct stress analysis in support of Engineering project requirements for wing related civil aerospace applications, in both the production, design and development phases.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Stress Engineer preferably in the Aerospace industry with expertise in either Metallic aircraft stress analysis, aero-structures experience or/and Linear and non linear finite element analysis.
Ideally candidates will be HNC/HND/Degree qualified in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
Have a minimum of 2 years within an Aeronautical Engineering environment
Knowledge of aircraft stress analysis
Knowledge of multi discipline engineering fundamentals
Proven Background in either Metallic aircraft stress analysis, aero-structures experience or/and Linear and non linear finite element analysis
Job will duties will include:
Responsible for ensuring static requirements specified by the customer and appropriate airworthiness body are complied with
Undertaking various Stressing Functions to ensure weight, cost and structural integrity requirements are met
Compile and sign structural reports as an independent check stress on stress/structural projects
Interacting with internal and external customers on a technical level
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
